Well, that’s a long blog post title isn’t it? And it doesn’t even reflect half of what we’ve been working on, in and supporting in February 2013. I thought it would be a good idea to document some of the things we’ve done each month, if only so that you can see the breadth of the projects, businesses and people we work with and the types of services we provide. Some of our clients are on a project by project basis, others are retainers and still others are one off activities that we’ve been asked to come up with ideas and provide creative input for….
Starting with the nearly naked male models (do you want us to pretend that it’s not been the highlight of February?)… The models were part of Cambridge Style Week. We took the project on with just 5 weeks run up to the event and were briefed to get people talking about the week as a whole and the composite parts. From twitter impressions of just over 100K in 7 days, and Facebook reach of over 12,000 in the week itself and excellent levels of engagement from both attendees and the online fashion community – including Vogue and Harpers, the Founders – Nicky Shepard and Sarah Steele are very happy with the outcomes.
And then for something entirely different, we went to meet with the Head of Midwifery at Stevenage Hospital, to help the Hertfordshire branch of Water Babies make a donation to the Maternity Unit and to drop off canvases with gorgeous pictures of some of their babies they’ve swum with in recent months.
We’ve also been on site with iansyst at BETT 2013, which is an international industry event for everyone in the assistive learning sector. We attended to interview key staff on site from iansyst, as well as their key manufacturing partners. We used audio, video and took camera stills to produce coverage across a range of channels. Iansyst were free to talk to customers, peers and partners whilst still having a strong presence in real time, online.
Our ongoing work with Design Essentials continues, providing monthly catch ups with the Founder, Wendy Howell. We cover a wide range of marketing, PR and social media which is mostly undertaken by Wendy herself, with our support and creative input. In fact, it was Wendy Howell who connected us to Cambridge Style Week, so are very grateful to her making the introduction.
And finally, but by no means least, we’ve included a picture of some gorgeous boots from Blue Saffron Walden. We provide Hayley and her team with ongoing Facebook coverage and also produced her website for her. Hayley’s creativity know no end, and we’re really pleased to be able to get it out there for her – her 48 hour offer of 15% off all new stock – administered solely through her Facbeook page, brought significant footfall into the shop. As well as direct sales on the days of the offer, many people took note of items they’d be buying over the coming weeks and so there has been a sustained positive effect which is good news, as she’s in a competitive market!
So February 2013 has been a really interesting month – social media, marketing, PR and communications support, consultancy and implementation for a wide range of businesses large and small, in a range of markets from technology to fashion to maternity and back again! Looking forward to seeing what March has in store!
