Thought it would be useful to share the email we’ve just sent to clients and friends of Weston Communications….
Please forgive the group email, but I’m writing with an update from the Weston Communications team. As many of you will know, Hannah Elsom is our go to “bird” for admin, finance and all things organisational. She is leaving us today, as her next baby is due to arrive shortly. Hannah has been with Weston Communications for nearly 4 years and is known as the “glue” of Weston Communications. I hope you’ll join me in wishing her all the very best as goes on her next adventure as a Mummy of 2 …..
Accounts, invoices, payments, receipts and all things money related.
Going forwards, Alan Harris, who is our accountant, with more than 40 years of experience, is going to do all our invoicing, payments and everything financially related. Alan is great – he knows about all things financial and has been in charge of our accounts since we started. If you’re late paying an invoice, he’ll be following up with you promptly as he’s very efficient. To contact Alan, please email email@example.com – he will be working both in the office and from home, so you’re best to email him.
Support, admin and everything else.
For support, queries, questions and anything else, please email me as you would normally do. You will sometimes see me reply and cc, adding questions and requests to firstname.lastname@example.org – support is manned by the very lovely Chelle, Katie and Emma, who provide support and ensure we’re monitoring, moderating and keeping on top of everything.
The only thing that’s not been covered, is who I will share my weekly lunch with, from Shelford Deli. So if you find me inviting you into the office more regularly, it’s to ensure that I don’t miss out on lunch from the Deli !!
And on a personal note, to conclude, thank you to all our clients for continuing to work with us. We love what we do, we love working with you all, and helping your businesses to grow. For those who know us very well, you’ll have noticed that although I’m still working more than a regular 40 hour week, it’s now being interspersed with a bit more parenting. Thank you for supporting me in doing this – it’s hard work, but I feel much less of the Working Mother Guilt now that I’m seeing more of the boys as I do the swimming and gym runs every couple of weeks, and even the dreaded School Drop Off sometimes!
Look forward to my next catch up and check in with everyone shortly.
